After years of employment as a traditional glass painter I have spent the last several years exploring the fusing of glass with metal foil / metal pieces or other materials. Scenic element are executed with black stain, white color and silver stain by firing or processed with a” cold painting” technique, painting with asphalt paint without firing.

I am still fascinated the structure of the surface of the fused glass in combination with metal foil. I prefer to place my works on the wall (and not at the window) to give their structure the optimal expression

 Another part of my work concerns small wooden boxes which are laminated inside with mirrors. They are spaces for giving my imagination free rein and offering me the opportunity to create an inner world of small objects. On the front side the boxes are covered with glass sheet.
